Gen Z values flexibility, whether that’s the ability to work remotely, set their own schedules, or blend work and life in a way that feels balanced. Nearly nine in ten Gen Z workers say remote work benefits outweigh in-office perks.

Real Skills that Matter:

This generation isn’t just looking for a job. They want to grow. About 87 percent of Gen Z undergrads say learning and development benefits are a key factor when choosing an employer. They’re seeking workplaces that invest in their skills and help them level up.

How We Can Support These Goals in School

Flexible Learning Options:

Incorporating real-world projects, industry partnerships, and competency-based learning makes a huge difference. Giving students opportunities to apply what they’re learning before they enter the workforce prepares them for long-term success.
