This webinar breaks down the most significant federal student aid restructuring in years under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. We’ll walk through major loan program changes — including the elimination of Graduate PLUS, new borrowing caps, repayment overhaul, and updated Pell and need analysis rules — while clarifying what remains unchanged (PSLF, Pell enrollment status, 90/10, Gainful Employment, and COA fundamentals).

We’ll also examine the policy intent behind the legislation, who is most affected (graduate and professional students, parents, and high-cost programs), key implementation dates, and what financial aid offices should be preparing for operationally.

## Key Takeaways for Attendees

- A clear understanding of **what changed vs. what did not** under OBBBA
- Insight into **new federal loan limits, repayment transitions, and lifetime caps**
- Clarity on **Pell and SAI adjustments**, including the reinstated asset exemptions
- Awareness of **funding gap and persistence risks**, especially in high-cost programs
- A roadmap for **what financial aid offices and institutional leaders should be doing now**
- Insight into **how CORE is building system logic and contingency safeguards** to support compliant transitions
